It’s normal to go to school every day. If I skip class, it is a violation of this norm and some sections include getting detention or in trouble. On the other hand, if you never skip a class, you can get an award for perfect attendance.
The norm of telling the truth and being honest is what we encounter every day in our life. However, people many time behave in a dishonest manner in order to skip conflicts or punishments.

Norms are the standard values that people expect from each other while behaving in society ethically. Hence, it greatly becomes acceptable for guiding actions of people in a culture and society. For example, people should act in a truthful manner and avoid lying to others.
What are the sanctions for making students obedient?
The sanction implies the penalties for making students behave in a particular acceptable manner. In order to make students become honest, they must be awarded for the same while students who are lying must be punished.
