In three-dimensional geometry, skew lines are two lines that do not intersect and are not parallel. 

Skew lines are non-coplanar lines that do not intersect. For example, take a look at the image provided below. Lines m and n in the diagram do not lie on the same plane and they don't intersect. Therefore, we can say that line m is skew to line n.
