Respuesta :
Due to the industrialization in the American Northeast,
removal of large tracts of trees were done. There was huge destruction of
natural resources. There were no rules and regulations regarding the
destruction of tress. So there was no restriction as far as cutting down trees
were concerned. There was also a lot of air pollution due to fumes from
factories. The soil also got polluted very easily due to the chemicals used in
the factories. The environmental damage was so huge that it would have taken
decades to get rid of them.
The correct option is: "Removal of large tracts of trees"
The process of industrialization represents the most dynamic aspect of the phenomenon of development. It is evident that the countries that today are considered developed have gone through such a process of industrialization that has modified the structure of their entire system. The case of the USA does not escape this thesis, which is why we see that the rapid industrialization that Sufi, the northeastern region of the USA had many negative consequences for the environment, hundreds of native trees were demolished and in the process water and air were contaminated.
