In the essay on pain, what did the author feel that most Christians would say about pain if you were to "pin them down?" Pain is a blessing. Pain was God's mistake. Suffering is part of a fallen world. God should have invented a better way of alerting us to danger.

There were no suffering before Adam and Eve ate the apple. After they disobeyed God however, they were thrown out of the garden of eden, and was forced to work on the 'cursed ground', which was when suffering started.
