After the days of Moses and Joshua, judges ruled over the nation of Israel. After the judges, elders of Israel came to Samuel wanting a king. Why did God say that they were rejecting Him by asking for a king to rule over them?
because God ruled over Israel and watched over them listening to them when they needed help and now the people reject him as their king and want to replace him with a man for a king
