classic conditioning effect from the cat's past experience where it can pair the sound of the electric can opener and the food which arrives after the sound.This effect was proven by Ivan Petrovich Pavlov who conducted the experiment on dogs.He proved the theory by using a bell and feeding the dogs after ringing the bell .After few times,the dogs started to salivate just by hearing the sound of bell.
