Some companies have regulated policies about what and not to post on social media. Such policies also include using the company logo and wearing the uniform. Depending on whether an agreement exists or on the nature of the photo, it is therefore legally right to call out employees who do not comply. Posting photos that may cause possible damage on the company’s name or its future agendas can be considered unethical. For example, a policeman posts an undercover situation or an artist posts clips of a movie yet to be shown without the company’s permission.
