Feudal lords' appointing church officials instead of the church has several consequences.
From these consequences:
1- The officers might get more loyal to the lord than to the church
2- The officers would not religious
3- Due to the fact that the officers would no be so religious, they might end up teaching people the wrong principles or lessons
