We believe that modern birds evolved from feathered dinosaurs. If we find the fossil of a feathered dinosaur in a higher strata than the fossil of a bird, does this invalidate the idea that this evolution occurred? Explain fully.

The answer would be no, because if evolution did occur in this situation, then habitats could just as well change, and evolution helps organisms to adapt to change.
