so it starts where it ended in the force awakens, where rey is with Luke skywalker. so there is a lot of trouble happening with the resitance and the first order. they are at constant fight. so rey wants luke to help them with the battle. He also teaches rey how to use the force. then the force connects rey and ben (the guy who killed hans solo) and they start talking a lot. he tells her why he turned evil and that was that luke tried to kill him back when he was teaching him. they start getting really close so then rey gets captured by him and is taken back to the first order ship. later on ben kills the surpreme for rey and offers to make there own aligence with her. she refuses and he hates her for that. Finn meets this girl whos sister dies in the beginning. they help eachother to meet back with rey where she help them move bolders out of the way so they can paa through,using the force. Luke is tempted to burn the tree which hold the last of the books containing the jedi knowledge and stuff like that. the all meet up and leah thinks that there is no hope then luke shows up and defeats ben and the rest of the first order. little did anyone know that he was using the force all along and then dies. therefore the last jedi comes in(because rey is the last jedi) :)

The rebels had just blown up Starkiller base, and for some reason they are running away from the First Order again.

After many unecessary scenes, this movie was a cinematic failure. I myself am  a Star Wars fan, but Ryan Johnson made this into a "comedy"/corny movie.
