Weather maps can give meteorologists sort of a visual. It really helps anyone to visualize something and so a map like this really gives a great demonstration point for meteorologists. As they are explaining or describing the weather, the map serves as a model for them to demonstrate what conditions are near the area, what has left the area, and what will soon come to the area.
You’ve most likely watched the news/weather channel, right?? Imagine watching the weatherman telling about conditions without a map. You don’t see that very often because these maps are important parts of their job. I hope my answer is more than enough to help. Have a nice night!
