x=cups of flour to bake bread
3/4 cup to bake pie
2(3/4) cups to bake cake

Part One:
x+3/4+2(3/4)= 7 3/4
x+3/4+1 1/2= 7 3/4
x+2 1/4= 7 3/4
Subtract 2 1/4 from both sides
x=5 1/2 cups of flour to bake loaves of bread

Part Two:
To find flour for one loaf:
5 1/2 ÷ 2=
11/2 ÷ 2=
11/2÷2/1=
Invert the fraction and multiply
(11*1) / (2*2)=
11/4= 2 3/4 cups of flour for 1 loaf of bread

Check the answer:
x+3/4+2(3/4)= 7 3/4
5 1/2 + 3/4 + 1 1/2= 7 3/4
7 3/4 = 7 3/4

Hope this helps!! :)
