Word salad and echolalia appear to be the preferred speech patterns
These are symptoms of Schizophrenia which are related to disorganized speech and this client is an example of that.
He is making up words like "keg" and "hoopanize";
He doesn't form sentences that make sense(word salad), in a moment is talking about eggs and the other about kicking a leg;
He is rhyming a lot (eggs, meg, keg, leg...) and it's repeating the same sound(echolalia).

In this case, the nurse should note that it appears that the client is demonstrating both neologism speech patters and clang association. Clang association is grouping words, generally that rhyme, based on their similar sounds even if there is not any logical reason to group them together.
