Respuesta :

I don't recall this story particularly well, but I do know the nature of Kate Chopin's work, so I'm saying B. Her work often feature women characters that oppressed and trying to gain sexual, or other personal freedom.

The philosophical argument Chopin make in her history called "The story of an hour" is option B, society represses women.

The story of an hour is a short story portrays a female protagonist who feels liberation at the news of her husband's death.  The word "free" began to haunt her mind, free from oppression after she learnt that her husband had died. The protagonist and heroine of this short story is Louise Mallard who  finds herself relieved that she is free of her husband. She begins looking forward to living her life for herself.
