Solubility and solubility product are two different terms which must not be confused. Solubility product is independent of what else is dissolved in solution unlike the solubility of a substance. The substance’ solubility can be measured from its solubility product.  Below is an example of a solubility product , Ks which is the  equilibrium or balanced constant for the equilibrium which exists between a slightly soluble salt and its ions in a saturated solution.
 AgCl(s) = Ag+(aq) + Cl-(aq)
Ks = [Ag+(aq)][Cl-(aq)]                Ks = 1.74 x 10-10 mol2 dm-6
