I would start by dividing by all the multipliers of the parentheses.
[tex] \frac{PV}{nt} = r_{1} +r_{2}[/tex]
Then, I would subtract the unwanted variable from the sum.
[tex] \frac{PV}{nt} -r_{2} = r_{1}[/tex]
