Fusion
Fusion is the process where two light nuclei combine
together releasing vast amounts of energy. As a future energy source, fusion
will have advantages as the absence of carbon emissions. The only by-products
of fusion reactions will be negligible quantities of helium which do not
contribute to pollution.
