Sympathetic nervous system: are responsible for the control of the body responses to perceived threat and fight or flight responses while parasympathetic nervous system: are responsible for the control of homeostasis, body’s rest and digest function. Both are part of automatic nervous system which is responsible for the involuntary functions in the body system.
