B) absolute monarchs.
The most significant example of absolute monarchy would perhaps be most exemplified in the famous declaration of Luis XIV: «L'État, c'est moi» , (The state is me. )All of these rulers were fierce and despotic rules who mainly sought to consolidate their power in the European scenario.
In an absolute monarchy there is no division of powers. There is no Parlaiment therefore to regulate the authority and will of a single ruler. Furthermore a monarch attributes hig right to command in a religious basis: He is given authority by God.
In contrast to this some monarquies were named Englighted monarquies: the notion that they embraced ideas from thinkers like Robespierre, Rousseau, Hobbes which advocated for social and political changes in regulating the will of a king.
-The Great Britain was perhaps the best model to compare as a progressive model in contrast to the old and despotic methods of ruling from Peter the Great in Russia and Friederick in Prussia.
