15 1/4--------> (15*4+1)/4----> 61/4 ft

the bedroom floor area is --------> (25/2)*(61/4)----> 1525/8------> 190.625 ft²

If the total cost of the carpeting is $762.50
then
762.5/190.625-------> $4 /ft²

the answer is
