First, find the volume of the cylinder.
V=pi*r^2*h
V=pi*0.5^2*3
V=pi*0.25*3
V=2.335 cm cubed
Second, find the volume of the cone.
V=1/3(pi*r^2*h)
V=1/3(pi*0.5*3)
V=1/3(pi*0.25*3)
V=0.785 cm cubed
Add the volumes together.
2.335+0.785=3.12 cm cubed
