His brother because 5/6 is bigger than 3/4. To make these equal, we need to find a number multiple by both denominators.
This is also known as the LCM, lowest common multiple. In this case, 12. We need to get both denominators at 12. Multiply the numerator and denominator by 3. We get 9/12. 9/12 is equal to 3/4. And now 5/6, we multiply both by 2. 10/12

10/12 is bigger than 9/12, so 5/6 (10/12)
