What was the impact of the cotton gin on slavery?
What was family life like for slaves?

Respuesta :

Cotton gin increased the need for slaves as it caused many accidents among the slaves that worked with it. However, the cotton gin made work less painful as it made the process faster. But masters of the slaves wanted more cotton and production - thus buying more slaves to do the work.

Family life for the slaves was little to nonexistent. Typically, slaves were separated from their families when bought by a master, leaving them to never actually meet their real family and such. However, some slave owners did treat their slaves with decency.

Hope this helps!
