Work with your doctor or trainer to find other non-weight bearing cardio exercise you cando and spend 30 to 60 minutes about three times a week on that exercise to maintain endurance. Circuit training is also a great choice for exercising through injuries
When there’s a lower-extremity injury, non-weight-bearing activities should be incorporated. Pool activities provide an excellent means for injury rehabilitation. Cycling also can positively stress the cardio respiratory system. Of course, no activity should be undertaken without the approval of the medical staff.
