A student prepared a standard stock copper(II) sulfate solution with an absorbance value of 0.862. The student then decided to prepare a second solution containing copper(II) sulfate from the standard stock solution. What combination of volumetric pipette and volumetric flask should the student use in order to prepare a second solution from the stock standard that will also fall within the Beer’s law absorbance limit that we discussed in class

Answer:

He will need a volumetric flask of 5ml and a volumetric pippet of  1ml.

You don't want to dilute it a lot becuase you can fall out of the limit.

I hope you find this infromation useful and interesting! Good luck!
