can u guys please help me on this

Answer:
B or D
Step-by-step explanation:
A would be pretty close to showing what the square root of 70 is, but it asks for the next step towards something accurate enough to get it to the nearest hundredth, and that doesn't quite get you there.
B is essentially the same setup as the tables it shows you, if you take the two that are on either side of the value you are aiming for, and average them, you can then take that new result, and compare it to the two you used to get it through averaging, you can then choose which of the new three are closer, and second closest, and if you need to be more accurate, you can to the split in half again, for example, if you want to say, find the decimle of one third through this method (.333333 and so on) you would take one, and two, average them to 1/2, and then .33... is between 0 and 1/2, so if you wanted to get closer, you can average 0 and 1/2, to 1/4, so, 1/3 must be between 1/2, and 1/4, and you can keep repeating this as much as you need to to get the level of accuracy you want.
C specifies a range that doesn't even include what you are going for, so it is a trick answer
D is essentially step B, but more specific, it basically remakes the table you see in the original problem, and it, without a doubt, will get you the answer to the nearest hundredth first try, but it does take more time (possibly) and will (possibly) result in you making calculations that don't get you closer to the actual solution, thus wasting time, but, this answer is correct, if I read the question properly, that is (and I am dislexic, just a tad, so, I might have)
In conclusion, I think both B and D are correct, they might have variing degrees of how long they would take, but they would both get you to the answer you want if you were doing this problem. If I were Maria, I would personally do option B, but that's more of a preference thing than an actual right or wrong way to do it. So, you should probably be fine with either answer, and if you get it wrong, feel free to ask your teacher why, because I would be quite curious as to know what the significant difference is between the two.
Hope that helps?
