As a student, I think the greatest challenge in making SMART goals is that students lack the proper discipline, commitment, and dedication to really think of accomplishing goals. To start, students cannot easily define gaols used SMART format.

Another important issue is that every student has a different set of expectations based on their background and aspirations. Some aim high, some others have no clue at all.

So first, students have to get a clear understanding of those five concepts so they can know how to write their goals.
