Unlike classical computers which contains only standard bits 0 and 1 , quantum computing use Qubit or Quantum bit in which there are more than two standard sets of bits. This can create a lot more possibilities beacuse we can run multiple tasks at once with only one bit of data beacuse of the superpositioned qubit. This unlike classical computers where the bit can be only 1 and 0 is more effectively used in breaking encryption tasks.
