Federal Communications Commission
1934
Radio communications has been handled in the United States since the Radio Act of 1912. That was replaced by the Federal Radio Commission in 1926 because of the increasing complexity of handling the radio networks. And finally on June 19, 1934, the Federal Communications Commission replaced the Federal Radio Commission and has continued ever since. Since the "New Deal" was from 1933 to 1937, the Commission of interest for this question would be the Federal Communications Commission.
