Well there IS a 1.8 x ratio between Fahrenheit degrees and Celsius degrees, but the origin is at -40 degrees instead of at zero. So to answer your question, -55 degrees Celsius is about equal to -67 degrees Fahrenheit.

Hope this helps

F = (1.8 C) + 32

F = (-55 x 1.8) + 32

   =  (-99) + 32  =  -67° F
